Features:
Large arm and bed space - The MC 6500 boasts the largest arm and bed space of any household sewing machine (9" x 5") making large quilting, home décor, and sewing projects much easier. A large extension table is included as a standard accessory with the MC 6500 to give an even larger sewing area.

Automatic Thread Cutter - This is a great convenience and time saver. The cutting feature can be selected by direct access or even programmed at the end of a stitch sequence.
Easy On Screen programming - 4 stitch modes and 135 stitches (including block and script monogramming and 7 buttonholes) mean ample stitch options for all of your sewing, quilting and crafting tasks. Stitches can be elongated, flipped and combined with other stitches and then saved in the Recall Memory Bank. Adjust stitch width from 0 to 7mm. Adjust length from 0 to 5mm. Centre needle and left needle position straight stitches can also be memorized in increments of 1, 3, or 5 stitches.
Independent Bobbin Winding - The bobbin winding motor functions independently of the sewing motor, so you don't have to re-thread in the middle of your project.
Convenience and ease-of-use - automatic thread cutter, needle up/down, lock stitch and reverse keys are all within easy reach right above the sewing area. The knee lifter is a favorite with quilters as it allows you to raise the presser foot with the handy knee control leaving both hands on your project. The easy-to-use needle threader saves time and ensures fast threading. A quick-flip stitch chart shows all 135 stitches and then folds to the back of the machine for storage. The pressure regulator on the 6500 is a gauge allowing precise control of pressure for all weights of fabrics.
LCD Screen - The bright, clear screen allows you to visualize and navigate through each function of the MC 6500 with ease. Simply press a key and the screen displays everything you need to know about that stitch or function.
